Quinn is a whimsical, powerful telepath who likes stealing traits from other people's minds &/or remote-controlling them into doing amusing things. If you're all right with either or both of these, please opt-in and let me know. Also let me know what sorts of traits/themes/general mental state he might find! Is your character good at math? Do they have an accent or a verbal or behavioral tic? Any esoteric interests or knowledges? Peculiarities of nonhuman consciousness? He will rummage in the library of your brain until he finds something interesting to copy. USUALLY this theft is, er, a copy-paste operation and not a cut-paste, but if you'd like to play with that, he is capable of it.


Another habit he has is "headfighting" - he likes testing to see who's the more powerful telepath any time he encounters another significant psychic power, by trying to seize control of their bofy. As a player, I feel NO need to win these contests, but if you're interested in having one, let me know and we can sort out who's got what advantages and so on.


As a telepath, he will probably detect other powerful psychic presences, and he will register on other people's psychic radar as powerful, unstable, greedy/rapacious/hungry, and with a number of other partial psychic auras clinging to him in bits, from where he's stolen pieces of other minds to improve himself. He doesn't always know where he ends and where other people begin.

Quinn is a severely disturbed individual, and if you're not interested in playing with him, I don't blame you. Comment & PM or let me know if you want to opt out of dealing with him entirely. But as far as psychic powers go, he only starts raiding brains when he finds something of particular interest, and his interests are whimsical - I will never thread telepathic invasion beyond ping-sensing without explicit permission.

Quinn Henry, 19, is an expat runaway, a powerful telepath known as a 'Jacker for his ability to effectively possess others. While formerly institutionalized, he showed no desire to escape -- he greatly enjoyed the chance to rummage in the heads of his fellow inmates, looking for interesting facts and personality traits. He's been diagnosed with early-onset neurotic osmosis -- that is, he spends so much time in other people's heads, he's starting to lose a clear sense of where he ends and they begin. Quinn is bossy, narcissistic, and determined to prove his own evolutionary superiority over any other telepaths.

objective: Win a confrontation without using telepathy.

Quinn is a little one-sided: he focuses so much on messing with other people's heads that he almost never does anything by any other means. Whether it's winning a card game without mentally peeking at other people's hands, winning a fist-fight, or any other sort of competition, becoming less of a one-trick pony seems like the most obvious thing to reward him for.

So among the other things I learned while shut up in my lab-rat cage for a week, was a certain tidbit I overheard- we have had our most successful escape attempt in four years, boys and girls, ever since my illustrious predecessor Troy jumped from guard to guard making them eat their guns. A Meltdown from the Fifth Ward was doing a study, right? And he had been working on range, and holding back, so they didn't know how far he could fry brains- he took out the watchers and guards around the room in one big boom, and actually got out onto the grounds before they managed to give him a beautiful little brain hemmorhage of his own.

Myself, I fail to see the constructiveness in such a patently suicidal exercise, but you must admire the brass balls such an effort takes, would you not agree?

Oh and Morgan darling, I seem to have lost my accent today, perhaps you could- no, there it is again. Nevah mind.

Well, (Quinn said), I'm back, chilluns. Didja miss me? Locked up in Dr. Lazar's playpen for a week, just because I tried to have some fun with a Shredder in the lunchroom... there ain't no justice in the world, but then, we already knew that, right? Well anyway, I hope Dr. Stone got some good readings off fo me or whatever she was trying for, because I have to tell you, between the two of them a fella could starve looking for any morsel of spiritual nourishment, so I hope at least they got something out of it. I see we have some fresh meat since I was carted off, I shall have to be sure to introduce myself in my customary fashion.

Well darlings, it's been a terrible long day for your beloved boss, so I think I'm going to turn in early. See all you sugarbabies come morning!
